About
The creative process can be notoriously wasteful, and I'm aware that embedding hams, racks of ribs, and steaks in alginate to create a meat barbell might epitomize excess for many people.
In retrospect, I scratched out these images, uncertain about my motivations or the meaning behind them. Even now, I'm not entirely sure what drove me to create this piece.
Yet, I've come to appreciate the unconventional decisions that led to its existence. Despite my initial doubts, I'm grateful that it came to be, if only for its sheer audacity.
